The iWISE 2014 conference was successfully held from 26th to 28th of August 2014 at Canadian Museum of Civilization, Gatineau-Ottawa Canada. The main aim of iWISE 2014 was to integrate research, technology and expertise in fields of water, informatics, sustainability and environment. iWISE2014 was honorary chaired by Prof. Farouk El-Baz, the Director of the Center for Remote Sensing at Boston University and the principal Investigator of NASA’s Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP). iWISE2014 was also co-chaired by Prof. Elena Naumova, Director of Tufts University Initiative for the Forecasting and Modeling of Infectious Disease (InForMID), USA.
